  • Material Type: TPU
  • Melting Point Temperature: 145 ℃ While the crystalline regions inside the polymer chain melt at roughly 145°C, you will need to set your extruder much higher (recommended 195°C – 230°C) to decrease the viscosity enough for smooth, continuous 3D printing.
  • Vicat Softening Temperature: Not Applicable. Because TPU 95A is already soft and elastomeric at room temperature, standard needle penetration tests (like ISO 306) fail to yield a meaningful metric. The material yields to the needle naturally due to its elasticity rather than purely thermal softening.
  • Heat Deflection Temperature (0.45MPa): 52 ℃.  Note: Under even a mild physical load, a printed TPU part will begin to lose its elastic structural rebound and warp if it surpasses 52°C.
