05 / Questions
Things people always ask.
Will I be charged any interest or extra fees?
No. nxtEasyPay is interest-free and fee-free for the cardholder. The total amount you pay across all your installments equals the original price of the product on nxt.cy.
Standard credit card terms still apply — for example, if you don't repay your full credit card balance to your bank each month, your bank's normal credit-card interest may apply on the outstanding card balance. That's between you and your bank, not nxt.cy.
How does the charge appear on my card?
The full purchase amount is reserved on your credit card limit at the time of purchase. Each month, only that month's installment is actually billed and posted to your card statement. As each installment is paid, the equivalent amount is released back onto your available credit.
Can I pay it off early?
Early settlement is handled directly through your card-issuing bank. Reach out to Bank of Cyprus, Eurobank, or Alpha Bank — depending on which card you used — to arrange it.
Can I use a debit card or a foreign credit card?
nxtEasyPay only works with credit cards issued in Cyprus by Bank of Cyprus, Eurobank, and Alpha Bank Cyprus. Debit cards, prepaid cards, and cards from other banks can still be used to pay in full at checkout — just not on an installment plan.
Do I need to apply or get approved?
No application, no credit check, no paperwork. If your card is eligible and the purchase falls within the scheme limits, you'll see the installment options at checkout. Your bank approves the transaction the same way it approves any other card payment.
